Pro Wrestling NOAH will host NXT stars Charlie Dempsey and Harlem Lewis in its upcoming event on September 23, 2025, in the legendary Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. They appear in the finale of the most prestigious tournament in the life of NOAH, the N-1 Victory of 2025, which provides both wrestlers with an excellent opportunity to show themselves on the world stage.
Charlie Dempsey: The Technical Strength that Knows No Upper Limits.
Charlie Dempsey, who has technical prowess and plays in the No Quarter Crew of NXT, is set to play his first game under the banner of NOAH. This is the first appearance of Dempsey in NOAH, although he was a former challenger of the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship in All Japan Pro Wrestling already in January 2024.
His type, which is based largely on submissions, can be highly appealing to the passionate fanbase of NOAH, which will provide him with a chance to once again squeeze into the worldwide wrestling scene.
Harlem Lewis: Newcomer Winning his Place in the Limelight.
Harlem Lewis (Vincent Whiney) is a young man who is only beginning to make a splash in the industry. Lewis has gained experience in WWE through LFG, television appearances on NXT Level Up, and matches in EVOLVE, though he has yet to appear on the main television programming of NXT.
He challenged Odyssey Jones using his own name in 2024, on Monday Night Raw, a loss that has to be recorded in the books, but once again a good exposure moment.
Competing in Korakuen Hall is a big step for Lewis, and a chance to showcase his potential on a stage full of pro-wrestling history.
WWE -NOAH: A Partnership strengthening.
The entry of Dempsey and Lewis to NOAH belongs to a wider and continuous talent transfer between WWE and the Japanese promotion. Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Omos, and Josh Briggs are all WWE stars who have been featured in NOAH over the past few years. On the contrary, some of the NOAH talents, such as Yoshiki Inamura, have established themselves in stints in NXT.
This partnership of firms has generated possibilities of dream matches, new styles, and cross-selling of talents that are beneficial both to the audience and wrestlers themselves.
What to Expect
Someone is in a chorus of expectation:
- In the case of Charlie Dempsey, it is an opportunity to establish himself in terms of technical credentials and, hopefully, emerge as a star in NOAH.
- This is one of the major turning points of Harlem Lewis: an opportunity to prove that he is not a newcomer.
Everybody will be watching Korakuen Hall, which is among the most sacred wrestling arenas in Japan, to determine to what levels these two can go.
